About me
I'm an interdisciplinary designer and artist. I've worked as a motion graphic designer for 15 years and also exhibit as an artist. I would identify myself as both
I am currently a doctoral student on the 3d3 programme. I am based at the Centre for Fine Print Research at the University of the West of England. I am in the first year of a PhD which is a study of practitioner centred, digital interfaces for data capture and data manipulation for creative practice. I am focussing on workflows for 3D physical fabrication.
I am interested in how digital technology is used by creative people in the new landscape of ubiquitous computing. As we live in a society where most of our interactions with infrastructure or each other involve the use or creation of digital data, I am looking at ways to enable creative practitioners to use this data in art and design practice.
I'm always interested in hearing from other creative people and am completely open to new projects and collaborations.
